Colleagues,

I am a week behind in getting my weekly message out to you, but after having read a provocative address in the most recent newsletter of the Philadelphia Chapter of the AGO, I must share this with you in lieu of my original intent. see: “Repertoire and Elitism” in the Crescendo May 2010 issue. I found this writer’s thoughts (David P. Beatty, present dean of the chapter) to be incredibly insightful. As always, share your thoughts about this?
