The Essex Children’s Choir presents The Annual Twelfth Night Celebration on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., at the Chapel of Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Michael’s College, Colchester.
Twelfth Night Celebration…The Gift of Light…The visitation of the Magi to Bethlehem with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
You are invited to experience the choir’s tradition of closing the Christmas Holiday with a resounding message of peace through the power of music. Highlights include works by Michael Praetorius,
J.S.Bach, Benjamin Britten, Harry T. Burleigh, and John Jacob Niles. The Choir will be joined by a company of Vermont artists and the Adirondack Liturgical Dance Troupe from Plattsburgh, NY.
