The Legacy Concerts: Robert De Cormier and Counterpoint
Counterpoint and an ensemble of nine instruments will present a comprehensive survey of the music of director Robert De Cormier, including the concentrated “Four Sonnets to Orpheus” to text by Rainer Maria Rilke, the moving cantata “Legacy” on poems by American poet John Dobbs, and classic arrangements of American folksongs and spirituals from the familiar to the unexpected.
