Summer Job Opportunity: Choir Director at Point CounterPoint Chamber Music Camp
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic young choral conductor to run the choir at Point CounterPoint. Point CounterPoint is a chamber music camp located in Vermont for serious string players and pianists from the ages of 11 – 17 years old. It is a full summer commitment, from June 18 – August 25. The choir director will direct the choir which meets three times per week. The choir includes both campers and counselors and is approximately between 40 – 50 people. In addition, the choir director will also be a cabin counselor for a group of 5 – 10 young musicians. This paid position is a great opportunity for a young conductor to gain experience in a supportive community dedicated to studying and performing classical music.
