Minister of Music sought for growing, open and affirming United Methodist congregation. Our Minister of Music directs our choir and plays our Steinway piano for 10am Sunday morning worship. Warm, caring congregation of all ages. We love all kinds of music. We use the regular United Methodist Hymnal, The Faith We Sing, Song and Worship and other resources. We enjoy praise music, global music, spirituals and traditional hymns.
Choir rehearses at 8:45am every Sunday year-round. Most of our choir members sing in area community choruses or with the VSO. They are good singers who learn songs quickly.
Job could be split between a choir director and accompanist piano player. Competitive pay depending on experience and training.
